BOOK IT! had an almost embarrassing hold on me as a kid. Read books and score pizza? Talk about the most effective literacy program of all time. Pizza Hut and Little Free Library are bringing the magic back with red-roofed Little Hut Libraries, stocked with reading materials and BOOK IT! swag. There are 24 to go around nationwide, so while I have approximately no yard and even less construction experience, I’m still considering applying for one.

And that’s not even the wildest collab today. JIMBO the Drag Clown and Brooke Candy are joining forces for a night of music, drag and dancing at $lutBall. Win tickets.

JUST ANNOUNCED

  • It’s the combo you never knew you needed: pancakes, booze and art! Win tickets for October 15th and check out work from 75+ local artists, drink specials, body painting and unlimited free pancakes.*

  • Dublin’s own Madra Salach are crossing the Atlantic for their first-ever North American tour. Catch their Boston debut at the Sinclair on November 2nd.

  • New music, a tour and… a comic book? Stoner metal legends Sleep are having a busy year after nearly a decade without new music. See them November 12th.

  • Alaska 5000 is bringing The Revolution to Boston in March. The Drag Race All Stars winner takes over Paradise Rock Club with a new live show.
