What up, witches? Halloween’s creeping closer and Boston is making appropriate plans. If you’re one of those “I don’t really do Halloween” people, give me five minutes to fix that.

Brass Against is bringing their Halloween Tour to town on October 30th and we’ve got a pair of tickets. Start Halloweekend with a free show and save your money for more important things, like a costume you don’t have to explain all night. Win tickets.

JUST ANNOUNCED

  • What’s your favorite scary movie? Ghostface would approve of Boston’s lineup: slasher flicks, haunted hits and cult favorites lighting up screens all month.

  • If your costume plan is still cat ears or “guy in sports jersey,” we need to intervene. We rounded up the best costume shops for vintage finds, full-glam, gothic gore or whatever else you’re going for this year.

  • Salem gets roughly a bajillion visitors every October and somehow they all seem to be standing right in front of you. If you’re braving Witch City for spooky season, our Salem survival guide is your BFF.

  • Are you team pumpkin beer or team spooky shit? Trick question. The Great Halloween Festival has both, plus fall festivities and Halloween photo ops for the whole family.

  • You’ve been to a Halloween party, but have you been to one at the library? Night in the Stacks transforms Boston Public Library into a Midnight Circus with dancing, food and spirits… of both kinds.

Still figuring out what you’re doing for Halloween? Good timing. We rounded up Boston’s best parties, pop-ups and reasons to leave the house in something you’d never normally wear. October’s one hell of a ride, so consult our Halloween guide and get freaky.
