  • Get in, loser! We're going to see Mean Girls live at The Emerson Colonial. The show runs from April 29th-May 4th. Grab tickets now — you can't sit with us if you miss it.*

  • Dust off your banjo — Mumford & Sons just dropped their fifth album, Rushmere, and they’re taking it on the road. Catch them at the Xfinity Center on June 20th. Tickets go on sale Friday.

  • Chevelle’s back this summer, and they’re bringing the noise with Asking Alexandria and Dead Poet Society. Catch them live at MGM Music Hall on August 24th.

50 THINGS TO DO IN APRIL

Hard to believe that it’s already April (winter, consider this your eviction notice). You know what they say: April plans bring May flowers... or something like that. Either way, we’re trading winter coats for patio cocktails, and honestly, it’s about time. Check out all the ways to have fun this month:

IN THE FUTURE

⛸️ Rock ‘N Skate

Fridays at Warrior Ice Arena (9PM)

Outdoor rinks may be out of season, but Boston Landing’s skate party is year-round. Lace up and own the rink every Friday — save the date for the Pop Punk Party on April 11th.

Masters Watch Party

April 12th at Banners Kitchen & Tap (11AM)

Want to spend Masters Sunday with big screens, cold beers and plenty of chances to win cool prizes? Post up at Banners for their watch party, where the only sand traps are the empty wing baskets.

🥳 Second Anniversary Party

April 12th at Portico Brewing (12PM)

Portico is turning 2 and throwing a party! Head to Boynton Yards for live music, a one-of-a-kind anniversary IPA, giveaways, commemorative tastings and more.

🎲 Trivia/Game Nights

Various Venues around Boston

From retro board games to themed trivia nights, there are plenty of opportunities to show off your arsenal of useless facts and have fun doing it.

✒️ Get Inked

Various Venues around Boston

Spring’s here and it’s time to shed those layers  — and maybe acquire some fresh ink. If you’re in the market for new body art, we rounded up these local tattoo shops for your next piece.

LOCALS ONLY

  • With the weather warming up, all we want is a cold beer and a dozen oysters on a sunny patio. Black Lamb gets it with Two Buck Shucks every day until 5PM — and all day Monday because, well, Monday.

  • Red Line riders are in for a bumpy month. Shuttle buses are replacing service between Ashmont and JFK/UMass through April 9th. After that, there’ll be two shuttle trains between those stations for the rest of the month. Plan accordingly.

  • Spring is here and so is street cleaning. Starting today, the sweeper is back in action, so keep an eye on the signs to avoid more tickets than usual.

Stay sharp out there today!
