There’s nothing quite like Pride in Boston. The first time I watched the parade wind through the city, I remember being struck by how joyful everything felt. Seeing people show up as themselves is a beautiful thing.

• Boston never misses a chance to party, especially when sequins and self-expression are involved. Between the parades, pop-ups and drag shows, here are the most fun ways to get loud and proud this year.

• Forget posing with rainbows, Somerville’s new pop-up lets you step inside one. The new photo booth and art installation is a bright love letter to Pride.

• Boston’s Pride Parade is coming up quickly; once the confetti clears on Saturday, keep the celebration going at the Pride after-party.

• Pride is going to the dogs! Swing by Park-9 on June 13th for themed cocktails, drag performances and bingo, then stick around for the Pride PAWrade, where pups and their humans can strut their stuff for the queens.

• If there’s one thing Dorchester Brewing knows (besides beer), it’s how to throw a party. Head up to the rooftop on June 21st for drink specials, DJs and dancing.

Pride Month is about more than rainbow logos. It’s a chance to celebrate the Black queer creators who continue to shape LGBTQ+ culture and community in our city. We’re proud to spotlight some of them here — and if we missed someone you know, give us a shout to give them some love.

• Pride Night is heading to Fenway on June 16th, bringing a pregame Pride Party on the Sam Deck and a limited-edition Red Sox Pride soccer jersey for fans.

• Secure your seat for a Love On The Rocks Pride Cocktail Class where you’ll learn the secrets behind three expertly crafted cocktails. Drag Queen Just JP will be leading the festivities on June 30th.
